‘Bethany Hamilton movie crews hit the North Shore’
The cast and crew take a break from filming “Soul Surfer” Thursday, March 4, due to heavy showers that interrupted the what was suppose to be a summer setting set. Jeremy and other cast members take the time to meet and take photos the locals on the one-day filming on the North Shore.
Also on hand for the Thursday filming, actress Anna Sophia Robb, who plays Bethany in the film, Lorraine Nicholson, who plays Alana Blanchard in the movie, and Jeremy Sumpter, cast as Byron Blanchard in the flick, took advantage of the break to get into more comfortable attire after huddling in rain gear during the squall. Tsunami Update
We are grateful to hear that the tsunami that hit Hawaii yesterday afternoon left no harm to anyone. Jeremy and the other cast and crew members of “Soul Surfer” are all accounted for and should continue filming tomorrow.
Jeremy has one week left of filming before returning to the main land. Anyone throwing him a welcome home party?

Here are candid pictures of Jeremy in Hawaii. “Soul Surfer” returns filming today for two more weeks after taking a day off.
Kevin Sorbo, who will portray Byron’s dad (Jeremy’s character) in the movie tweeted on his twitter page @ksorbs that the film may be released as early as September/ October of this year.

New On-Set Picture from “Soul Surfer”
A new on-set picture with Jeremy taken February 16th for his upcoming film “Soul Surfer” has been added to the gallery. Although Dennis Quaid (who will portray Bethany Hamilton’s dad) is the center focus in this picture, Jeremy is standing shirtless [*faints*] next to him.
