An interview with Charlie McDermott was held with Movieline.com. In the interview, Charlie discusses his upcoming project Prep School which also stars Jeremy Sumpter (who is also producing the film) and directed by Jerome E. Scott. Charlie is set to start filming in April and notes that the film is looking to be released in the ‘next fall or winter’.
Charlie relates the film to Dead Poet’s Society which starred Ethan Hawke, Robin Williams, and Robert Sean Leonard (from the popular TV series House, M.D.).
It’s a drama, like the Dead Poets Society for this generation. It takes place in a boarding school in the 1970s.
Two new pictures from Prep School was posted on the official web site for Jeremy Sumpter. The first behind the scenes picture features with Jeremy and co-star Troy Hatt and the second with director Jerome E. Scott.
