I Just Have To Talk About The Kindle   by reddead37

The Amazon Kindle 3 is an amazing new product by Amazon. It is wonderful e-reader featuring just a fascinating new e-ink technology. There are so many reason why I love the Kindle and why I recommend it. Its that special type of product that if i brought it and it had some kind of defect or I broke it or something I would instantly go buy a new one. Before I begin I just want to say sorry for the way I write but its my natural writing style that I don’t plan on changing, but I do hope that you understand what I am trying to say and get the just of it.

Ok, so first thing I want to say is that when i first brought my kindle picked it up and used it, I knew I made a very good decision to buy it instead of an I pad or some other type of device. My family members all have i pads and i touches and other devices similar to those. So when they saw the screen on the Kindle they were just amazed and didn’t believe that that was the actual screen. To be honest when I got it I was trying to pull the screen off the Kindle itself, I mean it just looked exactly like paper it was just amazing. Its actually funny because people still don’t believe the screen looks that much like paper. But anyway (going a little off what i was trying to say) my point of this part of the article was to tell you to not make the same mistake I did about buying the wrong Kindle. Cause you see I got the Kindle Wi-Fi. So anyway you see the one i wanted to get was the Kindle 3G. Whenever I’m out you know or just anywhere that doesn’t have a wi-fi I just get frustrated because I can’t download books whenever I want. At first i didn’t understand why it mattered (just like you might not either right now) I was just thinking that I have wireless in my house, you know, so it doesn’t matter. Just so you can understand just a little better here’s a small example that I can think with a full story (other memories are just me remembering when i was really frustrated over not having 3G). OK, it was father’s day and me and the girls in my family decided to cook my Dad a home dinner instead of eating out somewhere. So we asked him what he wanted and he said Italian food. So we were trying to figure out what Italian dinner we could create for him but we didn’t really know anything about what that would have in it. So the whole time I was mad that I couldn’t go onto amazon and download a book on cooking or something related to Italian food. Plus there’s internet on it. No its not the fastest in the world but if you need to look up something on Google real quick there you go. But ya, my point is that if you are planning on getting a Kindle don’t think you need the Wi-fi one as a starter. Just go straight to the 3G one. To be honest though I would of definitely gotten the 3G version if I had just a little more money. So anyway on with my review.

The reasons I love the Kindle. I am going to name the main ones and try to keep it short but hopefully answer any things you might be wondering about the Kindle and help to solve the reasons why you’re holding back from getting it.

First the weight, size, size again. I’ll say why I said that twice in a bit. I am a real person and this is a real review just so you know I’m not lying when I say this weighs as much as a pencil or I don’t know maybe I have super strength or something. But really it weighs less than my phone and just as much as a pencil ( it’s just so cool to hold). I can say its light because I didn’t just buy the Kindle straight up I did research, shopped around using different products like the Nook or I pad, so I know what light is compared to similar products. I have friends who have an I pad, I know apple advertises the I pad as super light but honestly my friends tell me different. Well its not so light, they actually tell me that their arms get tired from holding the I pad. And honestly I don’t even really know anyone who owns the Nook (sorrrry). So on to the size. Just to say it straight up I don’t like to read things off of small screens so I wasn’t sure about the Kindle until I got it in my hands and read a book on it. I was surprised to see that the screen was actually really large and the letters just oh so clear and perfect. The reason I put size twice was for one, what I mentioned about the screen, and two, how thin it is. On Amazon I think they show a picture showing how thin the kindle is by comparing it to a pencil. So I was doing something on the computer and maybe while something was loading or installing I decided to try that myself since I was just sitting there and there was some pencil nearby. I was just thinking how cool it was that it actually was as thin a No.2 pencil. The weight, size, and size again are just a few things that make the Kindle great.

Another thing about the Kindle is the space that comes on it. I’m the type of person that buys a 500GB HDD and will have it stuffed within a few weeks then its onto the next one. So when I saw that it only has 3.05 GB on it I was thinking that’s not going to work with me. But actually I have a lot of large PDFs and lots of music on it ( I’ll get to music in a bit) and I still ave 2Gb left which makes me feel…comfortable? Well anyway so if you plan to have a lot of books on your Kindle then don’t be scared about running out of space, if I didn’t you won’t I go through HDDs (for those who don’t that HDD means hard drive) like that.

Not many people know this but I love music. If i could choose to keep one form of entertainment in the world it would music. I LOVE tv, I LOVE video games, but I think without music those things are almost nothing, but I’m not here to talk about me I’m here to talk about the Kindle. The music part of the Kindle is the another great experimental addition for those who want to have the perfect type of music for that special type of situation you’re reading about. I’m sorry for those of you who came here looking for a comparison between the 2nd and 3rd Kindle because I don’t know anything about the old ones. Actually when I went onto Amazon for a skateboard I just got a quick glance of the Kindle when Amazon started advertising it I was thinking “stupid product who’s gonna waste their money on an e-reader, whatever that is”. Yes, I do feel dumb about that now. So I don’t know about the old one but if music wasn’t on the old its a great addition to the new one and I really hope that on the 4th one they expand on that idea of music. Because right now its just an experimental thing and you don’t have many options with it but Play and Pause. But I hope that on the fourth they’ll make it so you can have playlists set to play or something would be great.

Next thing I will keep simple and short about the screen that clearly says on Amazon. The screen features e-ink technology which makes it so the screen resembles paper EXACTLY. The screen also features I’ll just say No-Glare. So if you’re outside in the sun relaxing on the beach you’ll be ale to see the screen perfectly unlike things with a bright LCD display.

Did I mention that it has some pretty awesome games and apps available for it? well it does at the time I was just finding out about it, Amazon had just released some games for it. So I was even more enthusiastic about getting it. It also has apps for it. I was able some very useful apps to download that anybody will find useful.I will give a link at the end of games, apps, and accessories you should get for your Kindle.

There is more I want to add but I don’t really have time now so in conclusion I just want to say that the Kindle isn’t just for readers. I actually hate reading, but I learned that to get into reading all you have to do is find something you’re interested in to read about and just go on from there. So the kindle made me love reading. I learn new things from reading the types of books I like on my Kindle its wonderful. So don’t think I don’t want or need a kindle because i hate reading that is the exact same thing I thought. I actually really think that it was the Kindle either that made me read. I wouldn’t go out and purchase 200 books that I want to read and bring them all with me when I’m driving, 200 books?…no. With the Kindle I don’t need to bring 200 5 pound books with me everywhere to just pull out and read whenever, instead I have all my books with me everywhere I go in a small pencil weight and sized device. Please visit this link http://astore.amazon.com/thestulod-20 Store to get the right products for your. From first person experience the people you buy the Kindle from will tell you to get the wrong products so above I provided a link to a store I set up with the exact products you will want to buy for your Kindle. These I have myself after going through many other versions of each one. If you have questions on the products I chose you can please feel free to ask.

If you have any questions I will actually answer as many as I can. And once again sorry for my writing style. This article is on http://stuffedlodge.com/i-just-had-to-talk-about-the-kindle/
